Dr. Danisha Keating The Hub

If this sounds like your program

The people you serve are doing what they were told. They wrote the resume. They applied to dozens of jobs. And most of them heard nothing back. Not a no. Not a reason.

So they come back with one question: why is nobody calling?

It is not a lack of effort, from them or from your staff. Nobody has shown them what the employer sees.

Why Dr. Keating

Dr. Danisha Keating holds a PhD in psychology. She has spoken at more than 100 events and has trained staff and faculty at more than 30 institutions.

Every job on the board comes from the employer's own hiring page.

How it works

  1. Choose. Pick the number of seats your program needs.
  2. Share. Tell the team who gets a seat. Each person makes their own sign in.
  3. Search. Each person uploads a resume, sees real jobs scored against it with the reason, and applies straight to the employer.

Who it is for

Anyone who runs an employment program:

  1. County and city workforce programs and job centers
  2. Rehabilitation programs: vocational rehabilitation, recovery programs with a back to work part, and reentry programs
  3. Nonprofits and community organizations with job placement or job readiness programs
  4. Adult schools and colleges with career services
  5. Foster youth support organizations
  6. Organizations that serve military members, veterans, and military spouses

It is for every kind of work. Trade and hourly work counts. No degree is needed.

What changes for the people you serve

  1. They apply to fewer jobs, and the jobs fit.
  2. They know each job is real, because it came from the employer.
  3. They see their score before they apply, and the reason for it.
  4. They enter their answers once, not into every form.
  5. Their resume is in their own words.
  6. They stop guessing what went wrong.

What each seat includes

  1. The job board. Real openings from the employer's own hiring pages.
  2. The score tool. A reason, not only a number: each job is scored against the person's own resume, and they see what the job asks for that their resume does not show yet.
  3. A resume in their own words. They build it from the work they have already done. Nothing is invented for them.
  4. The Application Kit. The answers applications ask for, saved once.
  5. One place to keep track. They record where they applied and what happened next: an interview, an offer, or no answer.
  6. The monthly member webinar, live, and a community of people in the same search.
  7. The grant board.

What this is not

It does not promise anyone a job, an interview, or a timeline. It takes the guessing out of the search, so that way your staff and the people you serve can put their time into the jobs that fit.

Questions programs ask

Does this promise our people a job?

No. Dr. Keating never promises a job, an interview, or a timeline. It shows each person what a job is asking for that their resume does not show yet.

Is it for people without a degree?

Yes. Certificates, trades, hourly work, and degrees at every level.

How do our people get in?

You send the team each person's email address. Each person makes their own sign in.

How do we pay?

Organizations can pay by invoice.

Does a seat include one on one resume review?

No. A group seat includes the live monthly member webinar and the community. It does not include an individual video review.

We already have a job search tool. How is this different?

Most tools give a score. This one gives the reason, in plain words, for each job. And every job comes from the employer's own hiring page.

What program leaders have said

From program leaders who have brought Dr. Keating to their people.

“Dr. Keating was very well received. She would be a wonderful speaker for any current or former foster youth.”

Martine Wehr, Saddleback College

About Dr. Keating

Dr. Danisha Keating is a speaker, author, and educator. In 2020 she sent more than 200 applications and heard nothing back. What changed it was the resume, not the number of applications. She built this so job seekers can see what an employer sees.
